If you can pinch it, we can freeze it!

What is CoolSculpting®?

A non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that uses controlled cooling to a targeted area and treats the underlying subcutaneous fatty tissue.

How does it differ from other non-invasive treatments?

CoolSculpting uses a safe applicator to cool the targeted problem area and treat the underlying fatty tissue. Unlike other non-invasive body contouring treatments, CoolSculpting is a comfortable massage like treatment that only requires two to three sessions for noticeable results.

What does non-invasive mean?

Non-invasive means no cuts, no incisions, and no surgery. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive, nonsurgical treatment. Non-invasive treatments typically have little to no recovery period and few side effects.

How does CoolSculpting work?

CoolSculpting uses high-frequency sound waves for local cooling therapy. Cooling therapy freezes the treatment area and creates a “massage” effect on the fat cells, disrupting the cell membrane. Eventually, the frozen fat cells die, and are flushed out of the body naturally.

What body areas can be treated with CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting can be used to treat any area below the chest. The most common areas are: Abdomen, Bra Roll, Flanks, Upper Arms & Inner Thighs.

When will I see results?

Not immediately. After the fat cells are frozen and die, the body will need to flush the dead fat cells out completely.

You may start to see changes as quickly as four weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months.

Is there a recovery period?

Following the treatment, you can resume normal activity without pain or downtime.  While you are undergoing a CoolSculpting treatment, you may experience deep pulling, tugging, pinching, numbness or discomfort in the treated area.

Immediately after the treatment, side effects may include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, tingling, stinging and pain.

Is CoolSculpting right for me?

Although CoolSculpting is recommended for a wide range of patients, the treatment is not for everyone.  You should be in good general health and realistic about the results.

You should not have the CoolSculpting procedure if you have a hernia in the treatment area or if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.
